Joseph J. Andruzzi, 81, of Huntley, died April 21, 2022.Joseph was born November 8, 1940, the son of Joseph and Bertha Andruzzi. He served in the United States Marine Corp. as a Staff Sgt. and was a Vietnam Vet. In the Marines is where he met the love of his life, Mary M. Carini. The couple married on June 30, 1961. Joseph Sr. went on to serve as a Chicago Police Officer until his retirement in 2002. He was a great storyteller and never knew a stranger.
